Busta Rhymes Accepts Global Icon Award at MTV EMAs and Credits Fellow Icon LL Cool J

Legendary hip-hop figure Busta Rhymes took center stage at the 2024 MTV EMAs to claim the prestigious Global Icon Award. Busta also credited fellow veteran emcee LL Cool J as his inspiration, thanking him for his influence on early hip-hop culture, and expressed gratitude to his “best friend and hero,” his mom. Busta Rhymes now joins a group of iconic acts who have received the award, including the late Whitney Houston,Eminem, U2, and more.
