Busan Story Market Unveils 29 Korean IP Selections

Running during the Busan International Film Festival, the Busan Story Market unveiled 29 original Korean IP selections today.

Organisers stated that this year’s selection process reflected a shift from previous years, where stories were more prevalent, to a “greater emphasis on books and web novels — formats that have already undergone validation.” Selected projects include horror-romance Phantom Dating Sim and crime drama Round(both from CJ ENM Studios and Toons Family Branch), horror-thriller Take Another Route to Escape the Woods(from A2Z Entertainment) and sci-fi drama A Thousand Blues from Contents Lab Blue. Projects adapted from webtoons and web novels also include All the Summer, I Marry With My Brother-in-Law, I Refuse to Become the Disgraced Concubine, Infinite Chain, The Karma Note, Marriage Blues, The Official Hired Wife, Reading, Not Readable, The Reincarnated Boss, Sun Kissed Snow and The Worst Roommate.
