Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Queen Camilla will no longer be able to attend the Royal Variety Performance this evening due to "lingering post-viral symptoms" following her chest infection. The cancellation - which comes after the Queen was unable to attend Remembrance events in London earlier this month - has left her feeling "naturally disappointed" and hopes to be back to work soon. The King will still attend this year's show at the Royal Albert Hall for the first time since his accession and will watch on as Alan Carr and Amanda Holden host the celebration, while the likes of Elton John, Penn & Teller and BGT winner Sydnie Christmas perform.
