BTS’ Suga Fined $11,500 for Being Intoxicated While Driving an Electric Scooter

BTS member Suga has been fined $11,500 for being intoxicated while driving an electric scooter in Seoul in August.

He later released a second apology statement to clarify what had happened, saying, “On the night of Aug. 6, I made the mistake of riding an electric scooter on the sidewalk after drinking. He added, “I know that it is difficult to heal the wounds and disappointments the fans have received with any words, so I regret it deeply and reflect on it with a heavy heart every day… I will gladly accept any punishment that is given in the future, as well as criticism and reprimands.” BTS are currently on hold while the members complete their service, although several have been releasing solo material, including RM, who collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion earlier this month.
