Billboard gave viewers slightly sneak peeks at ‘The Truth Untold,’ causing the Internet to go into silly frenzies over yet another art project from the K-pop megastar. One of them screamed in Spanish, “Everything is beautiful, I just wish to be there,” while others called Jimin “a prodigiously talented artist… A winner he is and will remain in spite of circumstances.” The exhibit has captivated not only foreign fans; indeed, the crowd from New York joined in with, “Had the chance to see it when it was in LA and excited to see it again in our area!” Now that we see K-pop idols increasingly making their way into the fine art scene, maybe this exhibition from Jimin could even change the way in which popular music artists engage with visual media in a meaningful way.
