Bruce Springsteen Says Jeremy Allen White ‘Sings Very Well’ in Upcoming Biopic: It’s an ‘Interpretation of Me’ That Fans ‘Will Deeply Recognize’
Bruce Springsteen is providing more insight to his upcoming biopic starring Jeremy Allen White, saying that "The Bear" star "sings very well."
In an interview with Sirius XM’s “E Street Radio” host Jim Rotolo on Thursday, Springsteen admitted that it was “a little” weird at first to watch someone play a younger version of him. Back in June, White confirmed his plans to sing and play guitar in the biopic to Variety ‘s Marc Malkin, saying: “We’re going to try our best.” He expanded upon that in a GQ profile in August, confirming that he has been working with a vocal coach and watching hours of footage of the rock star. “I’ve got a really talented group of people helping me train vocally, musically, to get ready for this thing,” White said.
