Bruce Springsteen Postpones Two More Shows Under ‘Doctor’s Direction’

Following the postponement of a concert in France, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are rescheduling more shows under 'doctor’s direction.'

“Following yesterday’s postponement in Marseille due to vocal issues, further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days,” an announcement on the band’s social media platform states. “Bruce is recuperating comfortably, and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan.” During his appearance at the Ivor Awards in London last week, he noted those issues but blamed them on playing an outdoor show in “hellacious weather” in the Northern British city of Sunderland the night before, and made light of them.
