Bruce Springsteen Doc Set For BBC; UK Podcasters Merge; Cristiano Ronaldo & Matthew Vaughn Team For Movies – Global Briefs


Bruce Springsteen will feature in a BBC doc about how The Boss and his E Street Band arrived in the UK for a 1975 gig at the Hammersmith Odeon.

In his exclusive sit-down, Springsteen will tell stories and reveal how he was so disappointed by his own performance that night that he couldn’t watch the footage back for over 30 years. The group’s podcasts include Olivia Attwood’s So Wrong It’s Right; the BBC’s The Traitors: Uncloaked; The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby with Mike Tindall, James Haskell and Alex Payne; Central Intelligence with Kim Cattrall and Ed Harris;and Making A Scene with David Walliams and Matt Lucas. “This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business, said Ronaldo, who aged 40 continues to play professional football in a career in which he’s scored more than 900 goals.
