The couple were noticeably no-shows at David's London celebration on Saturday, but sources are now claiming they felt too uncomfortable to attend.
Romeo, as the second oldest child, made sure to make his dad's birthday special and delivered the speech to the Manchester United stars closest friends and family. Romeo could be seen clutching several cue cards in his hand as he arrived at the London venue on Saturday and was also seen holding a key role at Wednesday night's bash, held at the Beckham family's Cotswolds home, with a snap showing him proudly carrying candlelit cupcakes to the table. David reposted many of his wife's photos, and, perhaps tellingly, wrote in one caption: 'I love you all, thank you for making my birthday so memorable,' also failing to mention his eldest son.
