In her Us Weekly cover story, Shields opened up to Us about the pivotal moment and why she included it at the beginning of her book. “It’s funny, my girls are all righteous about these things: ‘How could you say that, Mom?’ I’ll say, ‘My ego doesn’t have a problem with playing this game.
