Mary Jane, the Amy Herzog play starring Rachel McAdams in her Broadway debut, has been given a two-week extension by producer Manhattan Theatre Club. The play, which opened to excellent reviews Tuesday, will now run through Sunday, June 16, at MTC’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. In addition to McAdams, Mary Jane features April Matthis ( The Piano Lesson), Susan Pourfar ( Tribes), Lily Santiago ( La Brea), and Brenda Wehle ( The Gilded Age).
