Broadway Musical ‘Shucked’ Is Being Adapted Into a Feature Film


“We don’t have to say goodbye just yet,” producer Mike Bosner told fans.

After the Broadway musical’s closing night at New York City’s Nederlander Theater on Sunday (Jan. 14), producer Mike Bosner announced that the show is being adapted into a feature film. The musical-comedy is a laugh-out-loud “farm-to-fable” about the denizens of a small, rural Midwest community, one of whom heads to Tampa to figure out why the village’s corn has quit growing. “Shucked” cast members John Behlmann, Alex Newell, Caroline Innerbichler and Andrew Durand.
