Broadway ‘Gypsy’ Casts ‘The Notebook’s Joy Woods & Jordan Tyson As Louise & June
The upcoming Broadway revival of Gypsy has found its Louise and June: Joy Woods and Jordan Tyson.
Woods and Tyson will join McDonald and the recently announced Danny Burstein in the revival of the classic Arthur Laurents-Jule Styne-Stephen Sondheim musical at the Majestic Theatre. The casting announcement was made today by producers Tom Kirdahy and Mara Isaacs along with Kevin Ryan and Diane Scott Carter. Directed by George C. Wolfe, the Gypsy revival is one of the most anticipated productions of the fall season, with the six-time Tony winner McDonald starring as Rose and Burstein as Herbie.
