Brittany Cartwright talks co-parenting son Cruz, three, with 'terrible husband' Jax Taylor amid divorce

Brittany Cartwright hopes she and Jax Taylor can have a 'healthy' co-parenting relationship as they navigate their divorce.

The Vanderpump Rules alum, 35, told PEOPLE on Thursday that Jax, 44, is a 'great dad' and that their three-year-old son Cruz is their priority. Citing 'irreconcilable differences', Brittany requested primary legal and physical custody of their toddler son Cruz and for Jax to be granted child visitation. Sources familiar with his and Cartwright's relationship, she 'took the initiative and decided it was time to file' after determining he had 'done too many things for a reconciliation to occur.'
