Brittany Cartwright tells PEOPLE her son doesn't "want to leave the house" she shared with estranged husband Jax Taylor. The two share 2-year-old son Cruz.

The Valley star, 35, spoke with PEOPLE in a new interview, giving an update on her home life since announcing that she and husband Jax Taylor, 44, are taking some time away from each other. "He's still at the house," Cartwright confirms, referring to the home she and Taylor share in the Valley of Los Angeles. As she explained that she and her former husband are currently living separately, Cartwright said that she is most concerned about their son Cruz.
