Brittany Cartwright has opened up about why exactly she chose to separate from husband Jax Taylor.
At Thursday night's premiere party for the new reality series The Valley, the 35-year-old star told Page Six: 'We've been together nine years, and people stop appreciating and take you for granted after some time — and that should never happen in a marriage.' Cartwright also explained to the publication that a lack of sex in their relationship negatively affected her self-esteem before she noted that she has learned to look inward to rebuild her confidence.
