Brits warned to 'unplug' air fryers from main power supply immediately

The Office for Product Safety and Standards has issued a recall for the Pro Breeze 2L Air Fryer, warning that a technical fault could cause it to catch fire

The Office for Product Safety and Standards has urgently called on users to cease using the Pro Breeze 2L Air Fryer immediately due to a technical issue that may lead to it overheating and potentially catching fire. The Office for Product Safety outlined in their warning that the air fryer "presents a risk of fire as it is possible for the internal components to overheat and ignite", reports the Mirror. Notably, this marks the office's second product recall over fire safety concerns in a month, following the notice for the ElectriQ CD10L Dehumidifier (2408-0029) issued on August 20th after identifying a fault in the circuit board.
