Brits are finally realising why Bourbon biscuits have holes - and it's not to look pretty


The 'docker' holes in a Bourbon biscuit aren't just there for decoration, they're poked into the dough for a reason - and it's all to do with the way the biscuits are baked

During a previous episode of Channel 4's Food Unwrapped, Mark Greenwell, team manager at the United Biscuits factory in Carlisle, spilled the beans to presenter Kate Quilton. Devotees of the sweet treat Festive Friends have been futilely rifling through the aisles, hunting for the seasonal snack they usually look forward to. Sadly, Cadbury confirmed the item's discontinuation, prompting an upset fan to claim 'axing them is like axing Santa'.
