Diminished and downcast, Britney Spears's father has been seen for the first time since they settled their long running legal battle over the end of the infamous conservatorship which controlled almost every aspect of her life for more than a decade. Driven by a woman who appeared to be his care-taker Jamie sat in the passenger seat as the pair spent several minutes at the window of two drive-thru pharmacies before driving to the Dollar Store on the outskirts of town. The settlement meant the avoidance of what many had predicted would be a long, ugly and revealing trial over final payments to the attorneys who helped operate the conservatorship and alleged financial malfeasance and excessive surveillance of Britney by her father.
