Britney Spears Seemingly Responds to Justin Timberlake’s Shady Remark at NYC Show

“Someone told me someone was talking s— about me on the streets,” Spears wrote on Instagram.

Spears’ comments seem to be in response to a remark JT made before performing “Cry Me a River,” a song widely believed to be about his split from the “Piece of Me” singer. While Spears did not elaborate on who she was apologizing to about the many headline-grabbing revelations in her best-selling memoir, one of the people who faced particularly harsh criticism after the book’s release last year was Timberlake, whom she dated from 1999 to 2002.
