Britney Spears Declared Legally Single Following Six-Month Divorce Waiting Period

Britney Spears has been declared legally single seven months after her divorce from Sam Asghari was finalized.

She hasn’t yet publicly commented on either occasion, but the singer has recently been championing her own freedom in her signature Instagram dance videos. Spears and Asghari began dating shortly after filming the singer’s “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 and got engaged in September 2022. After Spears was freed from her conservatorship, the pair had what she called a “dream” wedding ceremony that brought in a star-studded crowd of guests.
