British hip hop duo to reunite nine years after their split in hopes to bring some optimism to 2024
The pair went their separate ways after the release of Slurp! in 2016 but have now revealed they will be making a return in a bid to save the year.
Jordan 'Rizzle' Stephens and Harley 'Sylvester' Alexander-Sule, first shot to fame in 2011 with the release of their debut single followed by a string of high profile festival shows that cemented their place in the UK music scene. Addressing their reunion on his podcast, The Red Carpet Treatment, Jordan said: ‘I think our music has aged very well and I think that we, this is my guess, we are reminiscent of a time in British history, 2012, which was pretty optimistic. The duo had number one song Heart Skips A Beat, also featuring Olly Murs, along with other hits including When I Was A Youngster, Mama Do The Hump and Down With The Trumpets.
