Aidan, hailing from Birmingham, had no professional dance training at the time and told hosts Ant McPartlin, 48, and Declan Donnelly, 48, that he would regularly practice around his home and show his mum. Simon, Amanda, Alesha Dixon, 45, and Bruno Tonioli, 68, will scour the nation for hopefuls ready to battle it out for £250,000 and a coveted spot on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance. Amanda had told the Daily Mail's Weekend Magazine: 'I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon - he's the person who's given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn't have had.
