Britain's Got Talent axed from schedules by ITV in major shake-up

Britain's Got Talent has been pulled from its usual Saturday night slot next weekend, with ITV bosses deciding to air a James Bond film instead of the talent show

On Saturday, May 11, the popular talent show will be replaced by the Bond film Casino Royale, with BGT set to return on Sunday night, May 12. This isn't the first time the show has been rescheduled to avoid clashing with Eurovision - the Song Contest on rival channel BBC consistently attracts more viewers, reports the Daily Record. In the most recent episode, Simon Cowell awarded a golden buzzer to Japanese dance troupe Cyberagent Legit, who will now proceed straight to the semi-finals.
