Brit killed in New Orleans attack is stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry's famous nanny


Edward Pettifer, 31, was among 14 people who died in the early hours of New Year's Day when a man driving a car ploughed into a crowd of revellers on Bourbon Street in the city

Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick said the suspect was "hell-bent on creating the carnage and damage he did" and had driven deliberately into the crowd before opening fire.
