BRIT Awards 2025: Charli xcx is awarded the Songwriter Of The Year prize after receiving the most nominations across five categories
After receiving a record a record number of nominations, the hitmaker will be in attendance at Saturday's ceremony in London's O2 Arena.
Damian Christian, Managing Director and President of Promotions at Atlantic Records (part of Warner Music UK) and Chair of the BRIT Committee for 2025 said: 'Charli has had an undeniable year, taking her experimental brand of electronic and pop from underground raves to the heart of mainstream culture. With just days to go until the 2025 BRIT Awards , it has been announced that Charli xcx will receive the coveted Songwriter Of The Year prize (pictured performing at Glastonbury Festival 2022) Friends of the star say that he will not return for this year's ceremony which is due to take place on Saturday March 1 at London's O2 Arena after stepping in at the last minute for the 2024 show.
