The latest titles by Brillante Mendoza, Rima Das and Tom Lin Lare set to light up the Busan film festival's Jiseok section.
The festival also unveiled the lineup for its New Currents competition, which is reserved for less experienced filmmakers and has acted as an important platform for talent discovery over many years. This year’s New Currents includes two films each from Japan and South Korea, with others hailing from Myanmar, Iran, Kazakhstan, mainland China, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
