Brie Larson looks unrecognizable as she reveals bold new look ahead of West End debut in Elektra

Brie Larson made jaws drop as she debuted her bold new hairdo on Monday.

The original 420 BC Sophocles play followed the character of Elektra who is overcome by sadness and seeking revenge after being haunted by her father's murder when things take a nail-biting turn when her long lost brother Orestes returns. Brie played a kidnap victim who has spent seven years trapped in a filthy shed where she cares for her son (Jacob Tremblay), who was conceived when her abductor raped her. Two years after Room, she entered the sphere of mainstream Hollywood tentpoles with Kong: Skull Island, acting alongside Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson.
