Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy trailer breaks fans' hearts as huge star is immediately killed off


The new Bridget Jones film is set to be released in UK cinemas on Valentine's Day - 14 February 2025 - and the trailer has already left fans in floods of tears

Renee Zellweger is back in her iconic role as Bridget, but fans were shocked to learn that Colin Firth, who has played her love interest Mark Darcy since the first film in 2001, won't be appearing in the new movie. Bridget is still in her PJs, but this time with two kids in tow (Image: Universal Pictures/YouTube)The anticipation is high and the wait is almost over for those eager to catch the next chapter, as the film hits UK screens on 14 February 2025, Valentine's Day. After a brief romance with Rockstar, sparks could also fly with PE teacher Mr Walker, portrayed by 12 Years A Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, as well as rekindling her on-off relationship with Hugh Grant's character Daniel Cleaver.
