The eagerly-anticipated new season of the show, which hits Netflix next month, will feature the Derry Girls star, 37, getting hot and heavy with her love interest Colin Bridgerton, played by Luke Newton, in sizzling scenes. Contrary to some actors' aversions to shooting sex scenes, Nicola revealed she found filming 'enjoyable and empowering' alongside Luke. The actress previously admitted she was initially terrified to film sex scenes with Luke Newton, who plays her love interest Colin Bridgerton.
