Bridgerton star Bessie Carter looked unrecognisable as she dropped the flamboyant Regency-era frocks for a more subtle look in a new show.
The show's description reads: 'Set against the gathering storm clouds of the 1930s, masked by the decadence, frivolity and lavishness of British high society, Outrageous will bring the full, uncensored story of the Mitford sisters to the screen for the first time. And it wasn't just fame that the actress found on the Netflix drama - she and her co-star Sam Phillips struck up a romance, with the cute couple so serious that they moved in together last year The pair have been photographed at several events with her family, including alongside Bessie's famous mum Imelda Staunton and dad Downton Abbey's Jim Carter.
