Brian Wilson Placed In Conservatorship Following Death of His Wife – Updated
Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson is suffering from dementia and should be placed in a conservatorship, the rock icon's family and management says.
UPDATED with latest: At a hearing today, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gus T. May placed Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson in a conservatorship. A doctor’s statement in the filing said that Wilson suffers from a “major neurocognitive disorder,” is taking medication for dementia and “is unable to properly provide for his own personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.” A petition for conservatorship was filed by Wilson’s management team Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
