Brian Littrell’s Son Baylee Speaks Out After ‘American Idol’ Elimination


Baylee Littrell, son of Backstreet Boys' Brian Littrell, speaks out following his journey on 'American Idol' and his emotional Easter performance

After learning he made the top 20 during the Sunday, April 20, broadcast, the 22-year-old performed “Gone Without Goodbye” from his dad’s 2006 solo album, Welcome Home. Judge Carrie Underwood told Baylee the song was “one of your best performances so far,” and that she was hopeful to hear more of his “powerful tone” in the future. Following the final auditions, season 23 kicked off its Hollywood round on Monday, March 31, during which the contestants watched their competition perform for judges Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
