Brian Cox Once Again Criticizes the Method Acting of ‘Succession’ Co-Star Jeremy Strong: ‘He Would Be an Even Better Actor if He Just Got Rid of That’
Brian Cox is once again criticizing his "Succession" co-star Jeremy Strong and his method acting.
Cox previously described his on-screen son’s method acting as “fucking annoying,” but in his new interview with The Guardian, he gives a slightly softer take. It creates hostility.” Despite his feelings, Cox never discussed it with Strong “in the way [he] would like to have talked to him,” adding “it’s a very emotive subject for people who follow the Strasberg line.” Cox, who in the past has also been critical of Johnny Depp and Steven Seagal dubbing them “overrated” and “ludicrous” respectively, admitted that when he looks back on his career, he regrets being so harsh at times.
