Brendan Gleeson Boards Oscar-Qualified ‘The Boat’ As EP
Brendan Gleeson has boarded 'The Boat,' the Oscar-qualified live-action short from the Morgan Brothers, as executive producers.
Based on a true story, the film follows a father who, in discovering that his daughter Dhukia is showing the early symptoms of leprosy, must make a devastating choice. Said EP Gleeson, “Morgan Brothers THE BOAT is a powerful short film about the decisions and sacrifices we make to protect the ones we love. Recently garnering his first Oscar nomination for his turn opposite Colin Farrell in Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees of Inishirin, Gleeson is coming off of Joker: Folie à Deux, which hit theaters in October.
