Breathtaking episode 1 cast: Who stars in new ITV drama?
The three-part drama which charts the experiences of a frontline NHS medic during the coronavirus pandemic is based on a true story and is set to be a hard-hitting watch
Unlike many other medical dramas, Breathtaking is actually based on the personal memoir of doctor-writer Rachel Clarke, who wrote about her experiences during the biggest public health crisis in recent memory. Prior to starring in the show, Phillip appeared in a number of films including John Carter, Red 2, The Danish Girl and Exodus: Gods and Kings. In addition, he is also a prolific TV and stage actor too, with roles in everything from Silent Witness and New Tricks through to Vera and Patrick Melrose helping to bolster his already impressive CV.
