During the podcast, pre-taped on April 8, Applegate also tearfully recalled the moments leading up to her diagnosis, revealing she received the tragic news on a Zoom call with her doctor on the set of Netflix's Dead to Me. Applegate has recently teamed up with Jamie-Lynn Sigler - a fellow MS patient who has battled the disease for 22 years - to co-produce and co-host a podcast called MeSsy, which launched on March 19.
