The acquisition marks another expansion for Brat TV, which launched its flagship channel in 2016, and now includes Past Your Bedtime, a video podcast network, and an influencer marketing division called Beeline Talent. Counting more than five million subscribers on YouTube, Brat TV also operates channels on streaming services like Samsung, Tubi and Roku, and partners with advertisers like Lego, Mars-Wrigley and Disney. In recent years, the company shifted its focus to premium entertainment, producing an original series fo Peacock, The Girl In the Woods, and launching the critically-acclaimed feature Angry Black Girl and Her Monster at South By Southwest in 2023.Also in 2023, Crypt partnered with Meta on two virtual reality movies, including Trick VR Treat, written and directed by Eli Roth and starring Vanessa Hudgens.
