In the clip posted Thursday (May 23), Rita Ora’s Queen of Hearts — to the disappointment of her daughter Red, played by Kylie Cantrall — takes the royal couple prisoner while staging a coup on their kingdom. “I will never kneel to a tyrant,” Brandy, dressed in her signature powder blue, boldly tells the Alice in Wonderland villain before reassuring her daughter. The musical film is set to arrive on Disney+ July 12, about 27 years after the “Boy Is Mine” singer first starred alongside Whitney Houston in the 1997 TV movie Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
