Brandy and Erica Campbell's Daughters, Syrai Smith and Krista Campbell, Drop ‘Wicked’ Inspired by 'The Boy Is Mine' Remake
The surprise comes just months after Brandy and Monica hopped on Ariana Grande’s “The Boy Is Mine” remix.
As a tribute to Brandy and Monica ’s 1998 Grammy-winning hit “The Boy Is Mine,” and new musical fantasy epic Wicked, Smith and Campbell dropped a surprise cover of the aforementioned song. Directed by Michael Korte, the video shows Smith dyed in green body paint, replicating Wicked ’s Elphaba, while Campbell appears to honor Glinda the Good Witch from the legendary Broadway musical, and now, film adaptation starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. He continued, “Dedicated to Brandy Norwood, Monica Arnold, LaShawn Daniels, Rodney Jerkins, Cythia Erivo, Ariana Grande & everyone that has ever felt a little green.”
