Brady Bunch star Susan Olsen claims 'woke' reboot was axed over her conservative views

Susan Olsen, 63, who played Cindy Brady on The Brady Bunch has claimed that a 'woke' reboot of the series was axed over her conservative political views.

The planned revival was set to take some inspiration from the controversial Roseanne reboot by having the actors real life personalities and political views shape their on-screen characters. Olsen explained that Cindy was going to be a Libertarian podcaster on the series, while Jan Brady, played by outspoken liberal Eve Plumb, would have a transgender child. Olsen also said that she was pulled into a Zoom meeting - which she compared to an 'inquisition' - by the reboot's producers and creators, who grilled her over her stance on various political issues - including the Covid vaccine and transgender children.
