The event, which took place at talent manager Marc Gurvitz’s Malibu home, raised more than $1 million for the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBMRF). Cox, a longtime friend of the Josephs (the “Scream” star’s manager is Pett-Joseph’s sister Cynthia Pett-Dante), is an honorary board member of EBMRF. Saturday’s lineup also included emcee Judd Apatow, a raunchy NSFW standup set by comedian Jim Jeffries and a live auction hosted by Billy Harris.
