Boyzone and Westlife stars are inspired by Ryan Reynolds and say Chorley FC will be the 'new Wrexham' and are set to 'win the Premier League' after they bought into the club


The former Boyzone stars, who have teamed up with Westlife singer Brian, have become shareholders of the semi-professional football club in Lancashire.

Boyzone initially comprised of Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Stephen Gately - who died in 2009 - Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy Westlife soared to fame in 1998 when they were formed in Dublin, with the original line-up also featuring Brian McFadden, who later left in 2004 (pictured as Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan in 2010) The group were in talks to buy shares in Lancashire's Chorley FC, where they also plan to perform a series of concerts (Shane Lynch pictured)
