Boyz II Men hint at Michael McCary reunion after bringing him on stage during Las Vegas residency
Boyz II Men typically take their fans on a walk down memory lane - or in some cases a dance - during their ongoing Las Vegas residency.
While McCary, who left the group in part due to health problems, didn't sing with the guys, his surprise appearance did set off chatter about a potential reunion. Their debut studio album, Cooleyhighharmony (1991) peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, en route to becoming a smash hit, selling more than nine million copies, earning it Platinum status nine-times over by the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA). In 2003, after two decades of pain and back issues, McCary finally got a diagnosis to his ailments: multiple sclerosis, which is 'a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system),' the Mayo Clinic r eports.
