Disney and Pixar's 'Inside Out 2' has outgrossed the original animated film to become the 19th biggest animated film at the global box office
“ Inside Out 2 ” continues to dominate the box office, shattering records as it injects a largely absent feeling of joy into a movie industry that’s been in a prolonged funk. The writers and actors strikes halted production and delayed the release of many movies, leaving theaters with fewer films to show. Heading into the weekend, “Inside Out 2” will get fresh challengers in the form of Paramount’s “ A Quiet Place: Day One ” and “Horizon,” a big-budget Western from Kevin Costner that Warner Bros. is distributing.
