Box Office Milestones: ‘Nosferatu’ Hits $100 Million Globally, ‘Moana 2’ Swims Past $950 Million
"Nosferatu," a gothic horror remake, has crossed $100 million in global ticket sales.
“ Nosferatu,” a gothic horror remake inspired by Bram Stoker’s “Dracula,” sunk its teeth into $100 million at the global box office. “Nosferatu,” starring Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok, along with Lily-Rose Depp and Nicholas Hoult, brought in $26.8 million over the weekend from 6,317 screens in 61 markets at the international box office. “Wicked” recently overtook 2008’s “Mamma Mia” ($611 million) to officially stand as the highest-grossing Broadway adaptation in global box office history.
