Bosch Responds To Usage Of Appliance Company’s Blender In ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Denouement
Unlike Duke, Bosch is happy to be associated with the unhinged Ratliff patriarch (Jason Isaacs) in the denouement of The White Lotus Season 3.
As eagle-eyed viewers may notice, the finale of the anthology drama saw embezzler Timothy attempt to fatally poison his family with spiked piña colada drinks before backing out at the last second, and he used a blender from the German-based company to do so. As a fictional alum of the prestigious school, Timothy is seen throughout the series in Duke tees, even as he fantasizes about suicide — and homicide — due to his poor (and illegal) financial decision-making. “ The White Lotus not only uses our brand without permission, but in our view uses it on imagery that is troubling, does not reflect our values or who we are, and simply goes too far,” Frank Tramble, Duke’s vice president for communications, marketing and public affairs, said in a statement last month.
