The series will feature folk from literature, publishing and the creative arts with Jon Bernthal, fresh from TheAccountant 2, as one of its first guests. Other guests include activist and author Myisha T Hill, who is the founder of Check Your Privilege, and a behind-the-scenes look at publishing with veteran agent Stacey Glick of Dystel, Goderich & Bourret as well as Mission Impossible actor Henry Czerny and Broadway star Krystal Joy Brown, Emmy-nominated producer Joy Gorman, songwriter and author Sam Hollander, and national bestsellers Jennifer Pastiloff and Janelle Brown. Rise Literary will be hosting an event to kick off the launch of the podcast at the Ojai Playhouse on June 2 with Bernthal and authors Gertrude Lyons and Rob Bell.
