Bono Shares the ‘Tall Tales of a Short Rock Star’ in New Documentary Trailer

Bono performs U2 classics and shares the 'tall tales of a short rock star' in the new trailer for 'Bono Stories: of Surrender.'

The doc is described as a “vivid reimagining” of the one-man show Bono performed at the Beacon Theatre in New York City in April 2023 (and which was based partly on his memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story). The clip goes on to find him discussing how he met his future wife, Ali, the same week he joined U2, and his sometimes complicated relationship with his parents, especially after his mother died. Along with premiering in a standard streamer format, an “Immersive” version of the film will be released for Apple Vision Pro.
