Bonnie Tyler opens up on 'devastating' miscarriage at 39 that changed her future

EXCLUSIVE: Bonnie Tyler has opened up about the devastating miscarriage she suffered aged 39, admitting that it was 'tough' for her and husband Robert Sullivan.

Welsh music icon Bonnie Tyler revealed that during the height of the pandemic in 2020, she was stranded far from her Swansea roots, basking in the Portuguese sun at her stunning second home in the Algarve alongside her husband Robert. Born as Gaynor Hopkins in 1951, the star chose Bonnie as a stage name for herself (Image: WireImage)"I never, ever tire of singing Total Eclipse, but I guess the song I have the softest spot for is Lost In France because it was my very first hit single," she reveals. Apart from that, she keeps things simple, attributing her great shape to her preference for savoury over sweet treats and her penchant for smaller meals—though she admits indulging in plenty of mince pies with brandy sauce during the holidays!
